# ConniXT Editorial + Usage Guide

For writing about ConniXT in editorial, analyst reports, partner
co-branded materials, and integration documentation.

## Casing -- the part of the trademark everyone gets wrong

**Always**: "Conni**X**T" -- capital C, capital X, capital T, with
"onni" lowercase in between.

**Never**: "Connixt", "ConnIXT", "CONNIXT", "Connect", "ConniXt".

The capital X is intentional and load-bearing -- it is the brand mark
encoded into the wordmark and renders in the industry accent color in
every visual treatment.

The same casing applies to all four sub-brands:

- **BuildConniXT** (construction)
- **InsureConniXT** (insurance)
- **FinanceConniXT** (finance)
- **PayConniXT** (programmable construction money)

## What to call us

| Use this | Not this |
|-----------------------------------------|--------------------------------|
| "the construction operating system" | "construction software" |
| "ConniXT is a platform" | "ConniXT is an app" |
| "the Shared Project Graph" | "the database" |
| "BuildConniXT" | "the construction module" |
| "PayConniXT" | "the payments app" |

The platform is **the construction operating system**. The mechanism
underneath is **the Shared Project Graph (SPG)**. The sub-brands are the
industry surfaces, not separate products.

## Verb framing per industry

Each industry surface has an associated operator verb. These verbs are
operator-facing and live in headlines / hero copy / partner pitch decks:

- BuildConniXT -- *graph* (one shared project graph)
- InsureConniXT -- *bind* (quote-to-bind, certificate-to-claim)
- FinanceConniXT -- *fund* (draw-to-disbursement, evidence-gated)
- PayConniXT -- *flow* (programmable construction money)

## How the wordmark renders

The wordmark sets the brand name in **Orbitron** (Google Fonts, free for
commercial use, weight 700/bold, letter-spacing ~0.025em, all-caps in
header treatments).

The **last X** in each wordmark renders in the industry accent color
(amber / emerald / blue, see [colors.md](./colors.md)). The rest of the
wordmark renders in `text-zinc-50` (off-white on dark) or `text-zinc-950`
(near-black on light).

For partner-co-branded uses where Orbitron is not available, a heavy
geometric sans-serif (Eurostile, Bank Gothic, Geometos) reads correctly.
Avoid humanist sans-serifs (Helvetica, Arial, Inter, Roboto) -- the
proportions are wrong.

## Mark usage

The **glassbox mark** ([mark.svg](./mark.svg)) is a hexagon with three
internal rays forming an isometric-cube illusion -- a "Y" trunk pointing
up. Use this when you need a non-text brand cue (favicons, social
avatars, watermark-style placement, partner-deck spine).

`stroke="currentColor"` -- set a text color on the parent and the mark
follows.

Minimum legible size: ~16x16 px (about the size of a favicon). Below
that the three internal rays merge visually.

## What we are at this stage

- **Stage**: pre-revenue platform building toward Wave 1 PayConniXT
  alpha launch in Q4 2026.
- **Headquarters**: ConniXT Platform, LLC. New Jersey, USA.
- **Founder**: Don Bowden. Founder & CEO. The founder writes the
founder content himself -- including the canonical
  [/marketing/why-buildconnixt](/marketing/why-buildconnixt) origin
essay and periodic founder notes on
  [/marketing/blog](/marketing/blog).

## What we are NOT

- Not a CRM, not an ERP, not a project-management tool.
- Not "another construction software platform" -- the differentiator is
the Shared Project Graph spanning construction + insurance + finance.
- Not a payments processor in isolation -- PayConniXT is programmable
money *on top of* the project graph; the graph is the substrate.

## Trademark + permission
